Apologies for the delay in writing this, but my day job has had to get in the way of the post as I’ve been doing all the prep work for the lead up to a major event. *paws over eyes*

The Sunday just gone (16th October) was the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar held in the Nightingale Club, Birmingham. My owner and I had the day free, so we thought we’d go along for a visit – not because we wanted to buy anything specifically, but more because we thought we’d meet up with some friends there.

At least the plan was to not buy anything specifically, but earlier on in the week, we’d heard some good news … Latex 101 had finished making my custom-fit, custom-designed Latex Dalmatian outfit that I’d asked them to make… but more on that shortly!

We arrived at the BBB, and just as we were walking up so I could go and get changed, we ran in to Nemis and Jools – people we usually only normally meet at Heros! After a 10 minute chat with them, I went to get changed in to Spot, and wire up the E-Stim Remote Box while my owner went off to chat to Latex 101. He was shown a picture of the suit, but wasn’t going to tell me anything about it. *Grrr*

We went up to watch the “Introduction to Rope” workshop that was being run as the demo this month, as it’s something my owner isn’t terribly good at but wants to get better at. Whilst watching the demo, a text message arrived from a friend we’d planned on meeting there; so after the demo we met up and went for a quick drink. After this, we started wandering around the stalls, talking to those that we know and looking in to things that we wanted to get.

Every so often while wandering round the stalls, I got zapped by the E-Stim Remote Box – partially due to my owner having the remote key fob and at other times when E-Stim were demo-ing their kit, as my Remote Box is paired with the demo remote. Eventually, the time came and my owner and I went down to get the new outfit (since we decided it’d be worth waiting to the end of the BBB to pick it up).

When the package was unwrapped, I have to say that I was absolutely astounded with the quality and the look of the suit, I was as close as you get to being speachless!! I had to resist the urge to not try it on right away; as the BBB probably isn’t the best place to ‘rush and try it on’. I paid Latex 101 for the Dalmatian Latex suit and got some hints and tips for putting the suit on and how to care for it, then carried on with our last bit of shopping.

As the BBB was about to close, we quickly went and bought one thing from Edgeplay. Whilst buying the item, the E-Stim stall packed up and went!! I didn’t get to say Bye to them … *Whine* … however I knew where they’d parked, and so we left the BBB (I didn’t bother to change out of Spot) and went to say ‘TTFN’ to E-Stim. It was now time to walk back to the car, said goodbye to our friend and then start the drive home. 🙁

I was feeling really quite relaxed and pup-like at this point, and didn’t really want to come home, so we stopped up somewhere near home and worked out what to do from there. In the end, it was decided that we’d go out for dinner, but I’d need to pull some domestic clothes on over Spot. After dinner, we came home and it was finally time to get to try on my Latex suit.

It felt and fitted fantastically well, but was a little difficult to get on the first time I tried. However, once it was on, I absolutely loved it and didn’t want take it off again. Even though the paws are from a different company, and look different, you wouldn’t really notice when you look at it with the suit on. The picture below is a quick snapshot from a camera phone so that I could see the effect, and also so there is a ‘taster’ of what the suit looks like. I want to get some decent pictures of the new Latex Suit, and so when those have been taken I’ll post them on my blog too.

On Wednesday, one of our friends, Gizmo was in the area for an interview, and asked if he could come round and see us – as I was free, he came round for a visit. I was completely spread out on the bed, in full sensory deprivation when Gizmo arrived (I didn’t even realise he’d arrived!), and I guess some 30 minutes later I was freed, and we had a cuppa, a chat and then I got in to the Latex suit so he could see it in person… he thought it was fantastic (or at least that’s what he said ;)) and after an hour or so, I changed back in to civvies, put my dog collar on (as I can’t wear metal in the suit) and we went out for dinner. This was a great day, being able to just relax and enjoy myself and overall, has been a welcome break from the stresses of work etc.

Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar March

Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar March was the beginning of a few days off work and so a chance to just relax, let my fur down and have fun.

Also the BBB this month was the day we could pick up the pictures from the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar Fashion Show back in January.

Well, after a manic packing of bags on the Sunday morning (waking up late didn’t help), we (my owner and I) set off up to Birmingham. On arrival in Birmingham, we checked in to the Hotel … Yup … a night away!! Then headed down to the Nightingale Club with Spot in the bag (that sounds so wrong!!)

Paid our entrance fee, including the fee for the After Party …
shock!! 3 things already! A Sunday at the BBB, A Sunday evening at the After Party, and then a night away!
And went in … I got changed into Spot and then headed up to the demo, but not to watch (we got there too late, and also whips etc. don’t really interest me), more to pick up the CD from Keith with the pictures on it.

Back down we went to get some food … BIG MISTAKE!! We used the Canteen at the Nightingale!!! OH DEAR … We should have learned by now!! Still, after a balls up on the food that was delivered, we were suitably fed and so went out to start chatting and buying.

Chatted to Caz from E-Stim, Chris from RubberLuv (this part will become clear in a later post) and then went downstairs for a drink. Subsequently, we had a chat with All Naughty Fun For You. Carried on for a look round the rest of the Ground Floor, where we bought some Screw Gate ‘Chain Repair’ type of links from 1st Bondage Blacksmith as we knew we needed some … Then on round the rest of the stalls to Latex101 to pick up some liquid latex in black … my latex paws are wearing through on the claws … so with the black latex I can touch them up *wags*. Our last purchase of the day was a vac cylinder of different dimensions to the one we’ve already got.

Off for another drink and then a sit down and relax for a bit on the ‘sofa-ed’ area to work out plans.

About half an hour later, as the BBB was about to draw to a close, we went back upstairs to chat to Caz, since I’ve been trying to come up with a way of having a proper “Spot” tail and not one of the ‘off the shelf black puppy tails’ … So there was a bit of chat about that and also “product research” but more to work out ideas for how to go about making the tail.
Caz and I got chatting about SCUBA diving, which is something I’d like to get into doing … and I’ve now got a contact and a web address etc etc as to where I could do this … so watch this space, maybe one day soon there’ll be a SCUBA Spot *woofles*

After helping Caz pack up, my owner and I went up to the BBB After Party, where upon after a quick re-arrange of stuff in bags and the bags checked in, we went and had a look at the kit that Dungeon Equipment brought with them … After a while, I ‘joined the queue’ (so-to-speak) to have a go on what was know as the Bed-Of-Doom … It was well worth it … sort of like being on a flight simulator, but strapped down to a bench and completely out of control …. OOOOOHHHH how I wish I could have one. Still, space at home wouldn’t permit …

We stayed at the after party for about 2 hours and then retired back to the hotel where it was time to remove Spot and head out for food.

On returning from food we had a quick try of the new stuff we bought at the BBB, and decided to have an early night since the Monday night was going to be a LONG one 😉

Erotica 2010 – Day 3 – Sunday

The time that we arrived at on the Sunday was even earlier again … even though we set off from home later than the previous days (or so it seemed). I think our actual arrival time was more by luck and chance that we got the Olympia service that literally just arrived as we got onto the platform at Earls Court. … Probably means that all the previous days we only just missed it thus a 20min wait at Earls Court.

Upon arriving, due to our timing, We went over and had a quick chat to Latex 101 regarding a custom full body suit that would be similar to the Zentai. The consensus was it could be done, and that they’d measure me up later in the day when in Zentai (since it was skin tight so needed no clothing removing … making their life and mine easier).

After a quick bite to eat and a coffee I went and changed to Spot, and took up residence in the cage at the bound4bondage stand.

After a couple of hours I ended up taking a pup nap … in the 3′ x 2′ x 2’6″ cage … and it was surprisingly comfy. It’s been something that had been playing in my mind if it was possible. The opportunity was available, since on the Saturday once Erotica had closed, Mel mentioned that if I wanted to I could bring in a blanket and snooze if I wanted.

I came and went from the cage, as and when the trees were required (as London has no bins *Ears down*) [English: Toilet breaks] and also as and when a drink was required or food.

Mid afternoon, we went over to see Latex 101 and got all the measurements done, and the discussion about zip options etc. … All sounds great, and will be commissioning it by the end of the week, once I’m happy in my head that no other options are needed on the suit… OK, I’m not fully a latex puppy, but it will be very nice to have the option and especially as it’ll be a custom fit too *bounds round happy*. I’ve seen the work they did for Scamp, and I’m more than impressed with the quality and the customer care after.

The day seemed to come to an end fairly quickly, but I did spend the last hour or so out the cage. This was more of a safety implication than because I wanted to… there seemed very little security on the site at this time, and it’s when the public are leaving, and sometimes a bit hostile … HOWEVER, if the cage was allowed to be shut like in previous years, then it would have been OK … but with the door requiring to be left ajar, it meant the rowdy public could just be a pain … not what you want when selling to the more down to earth people.

8pm came, and due to the industry I’m in normally, I know how much of a pain it is to take down scenery etc. is, so we offered to say and give a hand to Mel and Daryl. Well, just under 2 hours later the whole lot was packed and ready to go. Just before we all said goodbye, I went to pay for the muzzle and cuffs from bound4bondage, but I was told to have them as a thank you present. *Wags*

Well, just to let you know, the muzzle has been used, and is fantastic! really nicely made, and is very secure. The buckles don’t sit on pressure points and so is very very comfy to wear.

A fantastic weekend came to an end in some ways far too early.

We have a few pictures that were taken with the correct protocol in place, so they are legitimate pictures. They shall be uploaded today, once they have been resized…. Watch this space … Oh, and the Times article will be added too.

*Nuzzles and Wags* to all, and especially to Mel and Daryl from Bound4Bondage.
