Heros – August 2011

The first Sunday of the Month saw Spot heading out to Heros. We set off a little later than we intended to, mainly due to sorting a few things out and the fact that I’d been away for the previous week. We then ended up being even later still due to slow traffic on the road, and the Central Line being unusually slow. It was also unusually quiet on the train, which took us by surprise.

We arrived at the Backstreet and set about getting changed, and after paying our admission, went through and in to the club, which was also reasonably quiet. I did get a few strange looks when I walked in carrying a box of Bonios… which were actually genuinely Bonios! They taste a little like cardboard, combined with gravel, in case you were wondering. Although, having my latex paws on did mean that I couldn’t easily eat them as they were near the bottom of the box.

A little later, Heros started to fill up as more and more of our friends arrived – including Sam and Gizmo. I spent some time catching up with Gizmo after this trip to Edinburgh, and just generally chatting to him while having a relaxing drink… and some Bonios. Later on Scamp and Mark arrived, having been at a Pup Walk which I’d missed, mainly due to being a little tired from Scout Camp.

I can’t really remember much else that happened, other than spending some time on the floor playing with my chew toy … and at one point dragging Gizmo round the room. I also remember running off with the Chocolate Buttons at one point too, which was probably a little naughty!

As usual, Heros’ was a chance for me to just unwind and be pup-like in a relaxed atmosphere. However… this month the real fun was to come after Heros *wags tail*

It had been arranged with Sam and Gizmo that we’d head back to Sam’s afterwards so that they could experience the Vac Bed that we’ve recently purchased… this also gave me a chance to play with it again. This helped me realise that it would be helpful if the top and bottom poles for the bed were a little longer, after watching what it does when you use it in person rather than being the one in the bed.

We therefore set off for Sam’s, with Mike, Sam, Gizmo, Colin (My Owner) and I stopping for a quick bite to eat at McDonalds before we went off to Sam’s. On arrival, I started setting up the bed, and was nominated that it would be best if I was the first one in it… so I stripped naked, got in the bed, was zipped in and the hoover was switched on. The first vacuuming wasn’t the tightest that I’ve managed before in the past, but still really nice. It’s a strange feeling, as you become one with the latex sheets and, although the hover is running, it seems somewhat peaceful inside (even the hoover noise isn’t all that loud). You’re in the dark and unable to move (well, you can wiggle but not move your limbs) but it doesn’t seem oppressive. After a quick break to let the hoover cool down, I was re-vacuumed. This time the seal was somewhat better, and it felt like the latex was hugging you. It’s not cold, and nor is it warm … just as I said, oddly peaceful. The sensations when you are stroked from the outside are amazing, everything on your body seems to become super sensitive. Probably due to the sight, smell and hearing senses being unable to determine what was going on. After my couple of sessions, we moved on to Sam, Gizmo and Mike – and then I was allowed another opportunity to use it after the others.

We finally left Sam’s around 2.30AM which was a bit naughty considering most of us all had work the next day!

Since the night, and before the blog post, we’ve been out to buy new tubes to extends the top and bottom pipes… so I’m sure we’ll update the blog on progress next time we get a chance to play with it 🙂

This is looking like it could be a busy week for Spot, with the hope of getting to two club nights this week – so you can be assured that I’ll update the blog if that’s the case.

Apologies for the delay in writing this blog post about Heros this month, unfortunately real life has had to get in the way for this pup *paws over eyes*

Heros this month fell on the Sunday after London Pride, and also marked the 3rd Anniversary of two things – my owner and I meeting for the first time on the first Zentai Walkabout we did (Spot visiting the Natural History Museum with Mortice) and also our first visit to Heros. However, this usually means one of two things: It will be very busy because it’s pride weekend, or it will be very quiet as everyone is already partied out from the night before.

This month it was moderately busy, but with some new faces showing up. We thought we were going to be relatively late due to a work commitment earlier in the day, but actually, we got there about 30 minutes after it opened, and there weren’t very many others there – although we were expecting some friends to turn up later, and they did. Unfortunately, as Scamp was a bit of an ill puppy this month, he didn’t make it.

When our friends duly arrived, we met up with Gizmo, a pup that my owner has been talking to about an upcoming project… and we spent some time talking about various things as he’s involved in a similar industry to me. We also enjoyed a chat with some other people that had turned up and just a generally nice and relaxing evening…

At some point in the evening, I was aware I was having scritches behind the ear … though I think I may have fallen asleep *gentle woofs* … or if it wasn’t asleep, I was most definitely very very very relaxed!!!

The night didn’t go without some form of chaos; Gizmo wanted some pictures taken and my owner had his camera with him, he took some pictures of Gizmo, and then a couple of Gizmo and I (included below) and returned his camera to behind the bar for safety. A little later, we left Heros, and Mile End on the train. My owner realised he’d left the camera behind, so went back on the next train to get it… then left the camera on the platform and eventually missed the last Westbound train home, causing complete chaos and delays for this pup.

Spot’s next outing is hopefully going to be to the BBB this month, as I’ve actually got the day off…

Following on from Sunday’s Walkabout, we went on as a group to Heros, arriving just before 6PM and it was pouring. As the club wasn’t open, we spent the next 10 minutes standing under a bus shelter until we spotted the owner of the club turning up, at which point we got let in!

I think 7 is the most people I’ve seen in the club just 5 minutes after the doors opening… but as I was already dressed as Spot (since I didn’t get changed after the walkabout), all I had to do was put my civilian clothes in my bag, put my paws and knee-pads on and I was good to go.

I don’t actually remember much about the evening, as I managed to drop in to pup mode which means I don’t really remember much about the evening. I do know that I spent some time on the floor playing around with Scamp while we were both being mischievous pups. I also remember lifting Scamp up on my shoulders, and nearly banging his head on to the shelf a projector sits on. *paws over eyes*

Along with playing with Scamp, the night at Heros provided the opportunity to catch up with friends old and new, including Kerwin who’d flown over from the states to attend Heros and a friend of mine, zentaiskeletonuk who’d been attending his first Heros. I also spent some time trying to squeeze through gaps between the Bar Stools and the Bar proving that I’m both a skinny pup and that pup’s have no sense of the size of holes! Thankfully, I didn’t get stuck though. I also vaguely recall playing tuggy with someone, but not doing quite as well as I usually do due to having no grip on the concrete floor.

This pup certainly enjoyed the time out, even if he can’t remember most of it, and a chance to unwind for the evening.

May Heros

Well, both Bank Holiday weekends came and went… and Spot didn’t really get the chance to have much of a holiday due to various things having to be done or just normal domestic events taking precedence.

However, these events wouldn’t get in the way of Spot attending Heros *wuff* so we duly set off bound for London and the Backstreet Club. With it being a Bank Holiday weekend, this can mean one of two things – Heros will either be very busy or very quiet. As it turned out, Heros was actually relatively busy, with a few people there that this pup didn’t recognise. However, some of our friends were there so we had a good chance to talk to them about various things, and generally catch up.

One thing that this pup got up to involved snitching an E-Stim remote that was left on the bar… the other end was attached to Jools, one of our friends – so pup had a fun time pressing buttons as pups do *innocent look* Unfortunately, though, Nemis made me give it back and I wasn’t allowed to bury it.

This pup didn’t really get up to much else, other than chilling out in Lycra much as anyone would do down at their local pub (well, apart from the Lycra!) which was a welcome break from the normality of daily life.

Unfortunately, May is quite a busy month for my owner and I, so we won’t be paying a visit to Birmingham for the BBB this month, nor do we think we’re going to have time for much else!

March Heros

Unfortunately, real life seems to have got in the way recently with mundane things like work and MOTs etc getting in the way of the pup side.

This continued at the March Heros, where due to a 38 mile walk the day before, my legs weren’t up for long periods of scampering around the floor… or really long periods of standing! Still made Heros as fun as possible and still enjoyed being a pup there.

Hopefully I may have pictures from the BBB fashion show soon a s I’m off to the BBB an After Party on Sunday, then hopefully (*paws crossed*) a couple of days of possible pup time.
