A minor oversite to the last post(s) … I got a present from Scamp late October which I forgot to mention *paws over eyes* … They were a little Pup Dalmatian … but with a BIG head … hehe, and a door/notceboard placard with a sleeping Dalmatian on it, and the caption is: “I’d quit work, but I’d have nowhere to sleep”. *Wags Tail*, *Licks* to Scamp.
The start of the November saw this pup being quite busy, Firstly a midnight showing of the Exorcist on the Friday (or is that Saturday) finishing at 4:30am on Saturday morning. Then this pup was doing something that most pups would hateā¦ helping out (or more accurately, being the king-pin … what would they do without me!!!) at a fireworks evening…. arriving on-site at 8:30am Saturday (Only 4 hours of sleep at most!)Ā and then leaving at about 10:30pm! This meant two really long days, but the weekend did culminate in my monthly visit to Heros.
*Puppy hangs head in shame* since most of the night is a blur to me, but I did spend some time talking to Rover and his surrogate handler for the night, as well as conversing with Mortice and Kye too. This pup also got a presentā¦ everyone seems to be giving this pup dalmatian related presents, but I can’t think why *paws over eyes*
This time, the present turned out to be a bookmark with ‘Is this your spot?’ and a Dalmatian underneath. The only draw back to Heros was that the only doggy treats on offer were chocolate covered raisins (*GRRRRRRRRRRs* at Kye), which this pup doesn’t like. However, the night was exactly what I needed – a chance to unwind and be myself for a few hours after the previous couple of days.
Not really much else to report BUTā¦ this pup will be visiting:
again, for the entire three days helping out:
so look out for me there. You’ll probably find me mostly locked in a cage at Stand K6, but I’ll be let out for food and walks occasionally too!
