Better late than never – so here’s the post about Erotica 2013

After a one-year break, Erotica returned to London this year but with a change of venue. Instead of being held in Olympia (Earls Court), it was now being held at Tobacco Dock; and another change for me this year is that I was helping out E-Stim Systems on their stand this year as Bound 4 Bondage were not exhibiting. This also meant getting involved in a stage demonstration with them. It turned out that we also knew that Gizmo was going to be there as well helping on another stand.

We arrived on the Friday morning, and collected our passes and headed off so that I could get changed straight away. We found the changing rooms (with no working light – which made getting changed awkward), and happened to bump in to Gizmo and another pup – Shadow – in there, who were also getting changed. I started by putting Blue contact lenses in, and then changed in to the Zentai – making sure to put the two sets of sticky pads in the locations we determined the night before in preparation for the Demos I’d be involved with. We then headed up to the E-Stim Systems stand, and said hello, and made my space for the pup bed *wags*.

It turned out that the stage demo was not really practical to do on the Friday as the organisers had scheduled 2 demos to run side-by-side at the same time; so partially due to that, and also no tech from the organisers showed up, we returned to the stand… I was also relieved to hear that the Car Jump Lead clips were not the latest E-Stim Systems product; but were just to demonstrate with so the audience could see! Once back on the stand, it turned out that I was still going to be doing demonstrations – just on the stand as any time someone came up enquiring about the remote box, it was promptly demonstrated on me – I think I ended up with 3 remotes paired to it on the Friday, and 5 by the end of the weekend. However, Friday was actually very quiet, with very few members of the public wandering around. So apart from being used for the on-stand demos, I had the chance to curl up and doze, or to be the source of amusement to others – seeing how I reacted to all the other various control boxes that E-Stim Systems do!

The main areas of Saturday and Sunday basically followed the same as Friday, but in addition to the remote box, I was having other things demonstrated on me too now. I ended up, at one point, with a Series 1 box connected to the pads on my thighs, and another one connected to the pads on my ass cheeks, with both being turned up! I think at some point I had a 2B attached as well! Later on during the Saturday afternoon, I was taken for a wander around the venue in full pup mode, and even managed to negotiate the stone stairs down to the lower level on all 4s (not sure if Caz has forgiven me yet for this).

On the Sunday afternoon, Caz from E-Stim Systems took all 3 of the puppies on site out for a walk – Me, Gizmo and Shadow. The walkies was fairly leisure-able as we stopped fairly frequently to allow pictures to be taken – All pictures were taken with the permission of all 3 pups and Caz. The stone stair case was then negotiated again, and I think I scared not only Caz, but also surprised a few members of the public coming up the stairs! We then stopped down in the stand which Gizmo and Shadow were helping “The Dogs Bolloxx” / “Puppy Pride” , where a member of the public was asking “Why do they (the pups) do it? What do they get from it? How much like real puppies do they act?” – It’s lovely having these sorts of questions being asked …
– because normal life is constantly on the go / etc etc – pup life is simple and calm
“What do we get from it?” – a break where we can just be ourselves with little of no worry about the world around us
“How much do we act like real puppies?” – as much as possible – simple things please us, we do like to eat from dog bowls when possible, fetch is GREAT fun to play, etc ………… think of how calming having a real bio pup is to a human, now look at it the other way round, we find it calming to be able to ‘disappear’ into our own world.

We stayed around at the end on Sunday and gave a hand to pack up the E-Stim Systems stand, and also roped in Gizmo and Shadow to help, as they were travelling back to the exact same station we were. With the stand packed up and the van loaded, that was the end of Erotica 2013. My owner and I were both good this year, and only bought a pair of underwear for me (if you can call it that!) – though we did see something we might consider buying one day, but perhaps £2000 on a bed is a bit extreme!

All in all, a good weekend – and I’ve been invited back next year *wags*

Heros – December

Last Sunday saw the final Heros of 2011, and probably the last time that Spot will be out and about this side of 2012, as well. Due to the nature of my day job, this is now an incredibly busy time of year for me, so I suspect time relaxing as Spot might be minimal. *tail between legs*

Firstly, a bit about an event before Sunday. On Friday of last week, I was off out the house doing some domestic things, when my owner answered the front door to a Fedex man to sign for a parcel for me. My owner tells me that as he took the parcel and put it under his arm to sign the PDA that they use and he heard a tell-tale squeak from the bag. When he set off to meet me, he brought it with him and a little while after we met up I realised what it was: It was a thank you gift from Mel at Bound 4 Bondage consisting of a squeaky chicken, a squeaky elf, a rope tuggy toy and a bag of chocolate buttons *wags tail*.

I have to say that Sunday’s Heros was relatively busy but also relatively quiet – there seemed to be a few people there, but not much actually going on… although this could just have been an impression I got as both my owner and I were fairly shattered and I spent a fair amount of time being a peaceful puppy. I towed two of the toys mentioned above along with me – the squeaky elf and the rope tuggy; as well as the packet of buttons, *innocent look*, which I spent some time playing with, before settling down on the floor for some head scratches and disappearing into my own little world where I have no real worries and just became a calm, sleepy puppy. There was a quick game of tuggy with the rope toy, and fetch near the end of the evening, but all-in-all this pup just spent his time relaxing and unwinding after a stressful working week.

Remember: There’s no Heros in January, due to it being New Year’s Day.

Erotica – A week and a bit on

Unfortunately, since Erotica, I’ve not really had much time to be Spot as I was straight back in to my day job on the Monday after the shows. However, I’ve had a chance to scour the web, and the Erotica Facebook and Twitter feeds for information and pictures from the event.

Considering that camera’s were allowed at the event legitimately, it’s quite surprising that there does not appear to be as many pictures and videos on the web than I’d have expected…

The first post I found was over at Down the Rabbit Hole which features a picture of me. The only problem with the article is that there’s a minor error in the section relating to me being in the cage. Unfortunately, the stall that is described as doing the wooden furniture is not Bound4Bondage, but is instead MIV Fetish Furniture. The cage is actually metal, and made by Bound4Bondage – and the majority of the toys they sell are metal.

A couple of other blog posts of the event are available to read over at Yossarian Lives and at Sex, Shopping and Chocolate as well.

I did receive an email earlier this week with a couple of pictures of me taken at the event, but I have, as yet, not got permission to post them on the blog. If I get the permission to do so, then I’ll upload them at a later date. If you have any pictures of me from the event, can you let me know as I’d love a copy of them *wags tail*

Yesterday, I received a package in the post, containing a new dalmatian print Zentai from ZentaiZone… although with a difference. This was the first Zentai I’ve tried where instead of the zip running up the back of the suit, it runs up the insides of both legs – so you put it on over the head, like a T-Shirt or jumper, then you tuck your feet in and do the zips up. I have to say, I’m quite impressed with the quality and fit of the suit, as it doesn’t go ‘see-through’ when I put it on as some have a tendency to do so on the white parts. I’ll be looking to buy some more suits from them in the future.

This Sunday sees the last Heros of 2011, and of course, I’ll be there as usual *wags* – but also remembering that there is no Heros on January 1st 2012; the next Heros will be in February.

Erotica Day 3 – Sunday

It’s always a bit sad writing the blog post about Day 3 at Erotica – not because it’s not any good, but more because it means the weekend has come to an end… Erotica is not just about the show for me, it’s also about giving me a chance to unwind, meet friendly faces, catch up with friends and having fun spending time in the dog cage with Bound 4 Bondage

So… On with the details of what happened today.

Thankfully, the tube journey there was quite successful, and we actually arrived in plenty of time. Having finally realised the same thing I usually realise on the final day, I got changed just in the corner of the stand – there’s no public around and there’s a lot more space than in a toilet cubicle. After getting changed, I had a wander round and to say hello to a few people and see if anything immediately jumped out at me, but nothing really did. After a quick cup of coffee, I ended up being back in my ‘spiritual home’ at Erotica – inside the cage resting 😀

I was left there for a few hours, just idly watching the sea of legs walking past me, with some stopping to take pictures and pet me, but eventually had to be let out to go and find a tree. When I was out and about, I again went for a wander and this time we grabbed our lunch, with the intention that I’d go back in the cage for a bit before the Fetish wear Demonstration… this did happen, but with a slight distraction… as we were approaching the stand, I heard a squeak. Well, anyone that knows me knows that I can pick up that specific, distinct type of squeak from a distance so I dashed back to the stand, only to discover that Caz from E-Stim was standing there and had bought me presents of two squeaky toys. *wags tail and gets excited* I was allowed them in the cage with me, but only on the proviso that I didn’t squeak them too much!! *whimpers*

I got back in the cage for a bit, but then went and changed for the Fetish-wear demo… and decided to drag the squeaky toy up with me. This certainly caused hilarity, at least among my fellow ‘exhibits’ 😀 It was decided after the demo, that as a treat, I’d be allowed a bottle of cider, as by the time we left for home, I’d be fine… so after a bottle of cider, the pup was put back in the cage. The next thing I knew, it was almost 90 minutes later, and I’d been asleep! No one, from the visitors to the security staff, can understand that I actually quite enjoy sleeping in a cage. I got out and stretched my legs, and then went back in for another hour or so… but this was my final stint in the cage – although, I did spend about 30 minutes after this just sitting outside the cage like a good boy. *wags*

At this point, it was decided that it was time for me to take a quick wander around, and have some dinner so we went and investigated upstairs, and watched a bit of the cabaret show from there, and eventually worked out way down to see the end of it from the ground level. A final stroll around stands, saying goodbye to a few people we probably wouldn’t see later on and it was back to the stall. By this point, it was starting to quiet down, and for the last few hours, I spent the time up and about and not in the cage… handing out business cards, posing for photos and just having a chat with people.

The end of the show came, and then the de-rig started… so this pup became useful. Everyone knows that pups prefer the cardboard and bubble wrap than the products… so I was in my element dragging around the boxes and bubble wrap for repacking all the goods that were left in to. My owner and I stayed and gave a hand with this bit, before this sad puppy had to say his final goodbyes to everyone and make the long journey home.

I’ve enclosed a few other pictures of me from the day. As I said at the beginning of the post, this is always a sad day as it means saying goodbye to friends I probably won’t see until next year, and also the 3 days of excitement, playtime, and most of all for me, relaxation have come to an end.

Later on this week, I’ll write a further blog post with my highlights of the week, a few pictures from the stage show that my owner took, and also, and any other reports and pictures I can find on the web so keep an eye out for that.

Erotica 2011 – Day 2 – Saturday

Day 2 of Erotica (Olympia, London) started off in a slightly better state than day 1 did… my owner and I managed to make the right tube train connections, despite missing our initial train to only arrive a minute or two later than we would have done had we got the one we wanted – so we call that a result, especially given how difficult it is to raise this pup from his bed of a morning!

So, arriving at Erotica with about 20 minutes to spare, I set out saying hello’s and then went to get changed in to my dalmatian outfit. After a quick wander around as the show opened, I was put into the cage at bound 4 bondage, to begin the first stint there… however, after about 10 minutes my owner brought me out and rushed me over to a stall (well not quite rushed – but it was fairly quick!) where we went to look at a leather puppy hood they had… having seen it, we decided to buy it there and then as it was the last one (and we’d thought they’d sold out yesterday!). It’s not an expensive pup hood, and it doesn’t really reflect my dalmatian status, but it does what it’s designed to do – which lets us save up for a proper dalmatian one!

I was put back in my cage at this point, and was idly watching the world go by, as best as I can in the Zentai, when I realised that Scamp and Mark had arrived… so I was taken out the cage again to have a wander round with them and also a catchup chat etc. and then eventually put back in the cage again. I remained there until around about 2PM when it was time to come out so that I could get a spot of lunch and then change in to my latex for the ‘What to wear to a fetish club’ demo. This also gave me a chance to show off the new suit to Scamp in person… and he was quite impressed with it. It also meant I got to show it off to the people from E-Stim as well as they’d heard me talk about it but hadn’t seen it… And they had treats for the good puppy – Minstrels *Wags*

The demo seemed to run slightly differently this time, and no sooner had the 5 of us involved got up the stairs, but we were in-front of the audience and doing the presentation! After this I got changed back in to my Zentai and ended up back in the cage. As I was in it this time, I was asked by someone from the Erotica Social Media team (I think) to do a small recorded bit, which ended up on youtube… It’s surprising how hard it is to make up a speech on the spot (I’d probably rather done it more as an interview as opposed to the “Say your name and what you’re doing and a bit about the company” type open ended question) – still; you can view the video on Youtube… (my site layout won’t let me embed it properly)

The majority of the rest of the day was spent in the cage, just watching the world go by… well, apart from a couple of breaks to go to the loo and have some food… oh, and the two times I managed to curl up and fall asleep in the cage (The second snooze was about an hour or so long!). It’s amazing, give me a 3ft x 2ft rectangle, and I’ll quite happily curl up and go to sleep… let me on a double bed, and I want the entire bed!


BTW .. NO! I am not worth £580 and I’m not for sale … The bondage chair is however.
