Pup Social 3.2 happens in Birmingham, although this time it was in a different venue for various reasons… so, of course, this puppy HAD to go along as he was free to meet up with all my friends and to meet and make new friends *bounds round excited*

We arrived just after the start, due to some poor navigation from my owner who forgot to tell me which junction to turn off at *growls* before we went in, said “Hello” and got changed… Of course, after I got changed there was far more opportunities to say hello to people.

As the afternoon progressed, I found I was actually having more in-depth conversations with the likes of BossBear and a new puppy at his first pup event – Tommy from Sheffield. I also spent a bit of time chatting to members of the Pup Social Team and other puppies who I knew or recognised me at the event. In fact, a good part of the main part of the social was spent talking to pups rather than actually being a pup – but then, I’m more than happy to talk to people or to give advice based on my experiences of Pup Play.

I had some silly pup moments at the social … one was a quick photoshoot with Tommy which the photos can be found on the PupSocial Tumblr feed and at the end of that, someone brought in a video of 101 Dalmatians … so the photo opportunity had to be done

I also was ‘caught’ being a mischievous puppy when I was showing how dexterous I can be, as I managed to tip all the treats out the treat box … unfortunately there was photographic evidence of this by the PupSocial Team *whimpers*

As the afternoon drew on, I realised it was actually time for food as it was later than I’d though! So myself and Huskin, Marbles, Frosty, Acey and a couple of others ordered some food for delivery to the venue (as the different venue allows us to stay right through the duration and allows food to be ordered in) and I ate and enjoyed that. After some more talking, it was time to be a puppy and I got fully kitted up and was then put in a puppy cage for a bit to chill and relax. The room was fairly dimly lit and peaceful, and so I dozed in and out of light sleep. Some people may think it odd to turn up to an event, but then find out I slept during some of it in a puppy cage – but for me it’s a chance to unwind and just chill out on in the safety of a puppy cage.

As the time had come for some of our friends to leave, I was let out the cage to say ‘bye’ to them, and then found myself speaking to more people about life and puppy play and me … then as the end of the night approached (about 1am GMT), it was soon time to head home as I had an early start on the Sunday. Then came the bombshell – the clocks went forwards *whimpers* which now meant I wouldn’t be getting home until about 3 / 3:30 am BST … and an early start to the Sunday … *puppy mistake*

As I said goodnight to people, I had another long chat with Tommy at the event and hopefully helped him out a bit! I may not have been a puppy in the full mischievous sense during this Pup Social, but I enjoyed the time talking to people, helping them and also learning and reflecting about me too!!

What an awesome venue to hold PupSocial in though!!! so much play space and so much to do … I hope they can hold it there again *wags*

Puppy Walk – London Mar 2016

On the Sunday following Fetishbound & Collared, I was taking part in a puppy walk in London – a chance to wander around dressed as a pup in the heart of London… and when ever possible I’m not one to turn down a chance to be a puppy *bounds round excited* 🙂

After checking the arrangements for the meeting location, it was time to set off on our journey. The weather in the morning wasn’t very practical for travelling in Lycra though – it was a fairly cool day and so I had to travel in domestic attire 🙁 On arriving at the venue, we met up with the organiser of the walk and waited for other pups to turn up before heading off on the route… as the set off time approached, the pups went off to get changed, and then it was time to set off on our walk *tugs on lead*

Our walking route took us from the meeting location via New Scotland Yard, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square and eventually ending up in Victoria Palace Gardens. On route round we also found a cycle shop …. ohhhh so much lycra to look at … unfortunately through the window as it was shut!!! Due to being out in the public we were stopping along the route at many places to pose for photos or to talk to members of the public. The ending of the walk in a park meant that there was also time to play some fetch 🙂

I ended up doing a fair bit of the walk on all 4s which was great fun… unfortunately, by the end my knees slightly hurt, and this was my fault since I knew there would be loads of pictures I wore my softer knee pads – which was a mistake … I should have realised we were outside and so should have worn my hard wearing pads. However, it was great to do the walk and barking at passing members of the public was great fun as was the interaction with them in general.

Oh, and one other memorable moment on-route was when we met a small bio-dog, who at first wasn’t sure of us as we looked dog, but didn’t smell dog … We were happy to keep walking by, so as not to cause any trouble, but the owner was persistent saying that it’s fine, and eventually the little dog was happy to be with us – so much so that it wanted to follow us on more of the walk. After a short while, we were stopped for more photos, and so the lady and her dog carried on and left us to it.

Fetishbound & Collared – March

I took advantage of having some free evenings, which coincided for once with events in London, to attend both Fetishbound and Collared recently(ish!) in March.

At Fetishbound on the Friday, I had a chance to meet some new people and catch up with some old friends… Although I wasn’t quite with it, as this week had been quite emotional one of self discovery. I did pup up and have some fun with squeaky toys though. I even found the time to curl up and have a ‘sleep’ in the dog cage *wags*. This was a nice relaxing evening where I got to just be a puppy and have some fun, but reflect on what I had learnt from earlier in the week 🙂

At Collared on the Saturday, I went along earlier to meet with @PupBrock and @PupOnHisKnees for a chat before heading to the club to then met up with @MarblesWoofy and @CarlHuskin when we got there.

I started the evening off by chatting to someone about my Pup Life as they were quite inquisitive about my attire after a while, I noticed that Huskin was being tied up … and then I started being mischievous … but he had an opportunity to get his own back on me later in the evening!

I was taken by one of the pieces of bondage furniture they had in the venue, and ended up strapped on a bench that could tilt me almost upside down… now of course, while this was going on, Mark, Marbles, Huskin and my owner were teasing me at the same time. It was unfortunate that I didn’t get to spend as much time upside down as I may have wanted to as the others wanted a go, and we only had limited time, but it was still fun. I don’t think, though, that any pictures were taken of this 🙁

As I was released, Marbles was strapped in… so I took some time to tease him before it reached the point in the evening where we had to go home, due to plans for the Sunday and also tube train schedules.

All in all, it was a nice few evenings, where I was able to reflect and be a pup for a few hours.
